Some Exercises to Improve Athleticism

During this period when you might not have access to a gym and equipment, you could use the time wisely to improve your athleticism, which is helpful for your weightlifting performance.

I’ve posted 3 videos of exercises that you might want to incorporate into your training.  2 or 3 times per week should find your athleticism improving.

 

The first one is of one-legged hops.  I would recommend starting off with your weak leg.  Six sets of four hops on each legs.  https://youtu.be/a-X5cYaVw2E

The second one is Frog Jumps.  Five sets of four jumps.  Try to jump as far as possible on each jump with no pause in between.  https://youtu.be/DS4Zk-It53A

The third one is the  Front Medicine Ball Toss.  Select a weight that will allow you to move explosively.  5 sets of four.   https://youtu.be/1IYe8qDMWPU
